Life Lessons
Life Lesson

We must look past this world in order to impact this world.

Life Lesson (1 Peter 2:18)

No matter what position we have in life, our goal as Christians should be to use our position for the glory of God and the salvation of others.

Life Lesson (1 Peter 2:18)

We are never called to rebel against our authority, only to submit and trust God.

Life Lesson (1 Peter 2:19)

When we patiently endure harsh treatment, our faith is on clear display and we give an opportunity for repentance.

Life Lesson (1 Peter 2:23)

Suffering is part of Christian life. We are called to it. We rejoice in it. We'll one day be freed from it.

Life Lesson (1 Peter 2:25)

We should follow the steps of Jesus and be willing to suffer for the sake of others.

Do not be concerned about it; but if you can be made free, rather use it. 22 For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christ’s slave. 23 You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. 24 Brethren, let each one remain with God in that state in which he was called.”
1 Tim 6:1-2 NKJV
1 “Let as many bondservants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and His doctrine may not be blasphemed. 2 And those who have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brethren, but rather serve them because those who are benefited are believers and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.”

1 Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt. And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him down there. 2 The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand. 4 So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.
