Over 3500 years ago in the book of Leviticus God said when somebody is sick, they should wash themselves daily for a week and for seven days stay outside the camp. That’s where we got our handwashing and quarantine from.

The Hebrew has several words for our word ‘fool’. There is one Hebrew word which means ‘closed fool’, he or she who doesn’t know, (who also doesn’t want to know). Then there is the ‘open fool’, he or she who doesn’t know, but is open to learning.

When we are reading the Bible, and we see something in italics (or in parentheses) it means it is not in the original text, but was added for readability; to be able to read it easier. This is an ‘iffy at best’ practice.

Whenever you see Lord in the Bible spelled capital LORD, that means it’s the Yod Hey Vav Hey, or what we now know to be Yahweh.

When we see Lord spelled Lord, it is Adonai.

Adonai is a personal possessive name, meaning when you say Lord or Adonai you are saying my Lord, I personally belong to you.

Don’t count on rejoicing in your circumstances, because your circumstances change. The Lord and the Bible say ‘Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say Rejoice! The Lord changes not.
