Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. 1 Peter 5:8-10 NLT
8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are. 10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.
Proverbs 4:16-19 NKJV
16 For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; And their sleep is taken away unless they make [someone] fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence. 18 But the path of the just [is] like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked [is] like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble.
Proverbs 4:17 NKJV
For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence.
