God has done everything needed for us to be at peace with Him.

God has shown His love for you in the most powerful way possible.

We can have peace with God or be at war with God. We make the choice.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

even though I have received wonderful revelations from God. But to keep me from getting puffed up, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from getting proud.

though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The Devil will throw some of you into prison and put you to the test. You will be persecuted for 'ten days.' Remain faithful even when facing death, and I will give you the crown of life.

for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me--that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

Anyone who isn't helping me opposes me, and anyone who isn't working with me is actually working against me.

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

18 All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others. 20 We are Christ's ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, "Be reconciled to God!"

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.
