Romans 6:1-7

Romans 6:1 Amplified Bible

"WHAT SHALL we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God's grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow?"

But He said to them, "Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!
