Churches should be filled with powerful men and women.

We should honor one another especially our parents and our leaders.

We should honor, obey, respect and submit to our elders or our spiritual leaders.

We should want to treat other people better than we do now.

8 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money,9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience.10 But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless.11 Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.

And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

But Jesus said, "Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me."

"And Edom shall be a possession; Seir also, his enemies, shall be a possession,while Israel does valiantly.

And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, "The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!"

Then one of the servants answered and said, "Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the LORD is with him."

Receive her in the Lord, as one who is worthy of high honor. Help her in every way you can, for she has helped many in their needs, including me.

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.2 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise:3 "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."

Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you -

So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.

From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church.

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed:

Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."

12 Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord's work. They work hard among you and warn you against all that is wrong. 13 Think highly of them and give them your wholehearted love because of their work. And remember to live peaceably with each other.

Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

Remember your leaders who first taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and trust the Lord as they do.

Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

Obey your spiritual leaders and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they know they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this joyfully and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit.

After these things Paul departed from Athens and went to Corinth.2 And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla (because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome); and he came to them.
