No matter how gifted we are or what our giftings are, if we don't have love, we are just religious noise.

The spiritual gifts are that...gifts. We should not complain about the gifts we don't have or brag about the ones we do have.

When the church does not walk in unity it costs us the souls of men and women who do not know Jesus. That is too high of a cost to pay.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them:

6 God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. 7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.
