God gives away what is His; the enemy takes what is not his.

A part of our worship of God is giving financially.

As followers of Jesus, we should learn to be generous people and givers.

How we handle our tongues, our time and our finances tell a great deal of the depth of our commitment to God.

God created us to be forgiven and to be givers.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'

'There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.'

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this, "Says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, "Says the Lord of hosts;

"One tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain from the fields or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord and must be set apart to him as holy.

On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. Don't wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once.

The merciful man does good for his own soul, But he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.

There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.

Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.

20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, "If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, 21 so that I come back to my father's house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God. 22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God's house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You."

So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."

Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury.

Ever since the days of your ancestors, you have scorned my decrees and failed to obey them. Now return to me, and I will return to you," says the Lord of Heaven's Armies. "But you ask, 'How can we return when we have never gone away?'
