2 Chronicles 28

Life Lesson (verse 2 Chronicles 28:2)

Plan backwards from your eulogy or funeral about what you want your life to say, and don't make people lie at your funeral.

Life Lesson (verse 2 Chronicles 28:4)

We should be constantly changing our priorities to God's priorities.

Life Lesson (verse 2 Chronicles 28:5)

God will deliver you from your enemies if you serve Him. He will deliver you to your enemies if you don't.

Life Lesson (verse 2 Chronicles 28:15)

The way we treat our enemies and those who may be weaker than ourselves tells a lot about our spirituality.

Life Lesson (verse 2 Chronicles 28:19)

Lead well. People are following.

John 4:34-36 NKJV

34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, 'There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

John 17:4 NKJV

I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.

2 Timothy 4:7 NKJV

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

2 Chronicles 28:10 NLT

And now you are planning to make slaves of these people from Judah and Jerusalem. What about your own sins against the Lord your God?

Romans 8:15 NLT

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, "Abba, Father."

John 8:9 NKJV

Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

1 Corinthians 11:29-31 NKJV

29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

Luke 6:46-49 NKJV

46 "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say? 47 Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: 48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. 49 But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great."

Romans 2:4 NKJV

Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

James 5:13-15 NLT

13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. 14 Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

Leviticus 27:30 NKJV

And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's. It is holy to the Lord.
