God uses all people, believers and unbelievers alike, to fulfill His perfect plan.

The heart of the problem is the problem of the heart. We sin because we are sinners to the core.

If you love God you will love His Word.

Covetousness is a consuming sin. You can never have enough of this world that will one day be gone. Instead, we must find everything we desire in the one who is eternal, Jesus Christ.

Stay to the old paths. Obey Christ, know His Word and He will guide your steps.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, That you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?

21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.

If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.

42 Then Jesus asked them, "Didn't you ever read this in the Scriptures? 'The stone that the builders rejected  has now become the cornerstone.  This is the LORD's doing,  and it is wonderful to see.'  43 I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation that will produce the proper fruit. 44 Anyone who stumbles over that stone will be broken to pieces, and it will crush anyone it falls on."
