Matthew 25:13- - What Does Being Ready Mean?

Life Lesson (verse Matthew 25:15)

As God provides it’s always more than a money lesson, it’s a stewardship lesson. Don’t be bogged down with terms, but uplifted by God’s loving guidance.

Life Lesson (verse Matthew 25:18)

You are not your own if you are in Christ.  Be thankful, because He has called you to so much more.

Life Lesson (verse Matthew 25:18)

There is a protection of stewarding our resources well. The more we grow in stewardship the greater the chance to avoid the pitfalls of hardship that life will bring.

Life Lesson (verse Matthew 25:18)

Whether it is your time, resources, or abilities you have been given it is time to simply say - Here I am Lord, use me!

1 Cor 2:12 NKJV

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

Psalms 24:1-2 NKJV

1 The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. 2 For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters.

John 15:16 NKJV

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Matt 28:18-20 NKJV

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Psalms 1:1-3 NLT

1 Oh, the joys of those who do not  follow the advice of the wicked,  or stand around with sinners,  or join in with mockers. 2 But they delight in the law of the Lord,  meditating on it day and night.  3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.  Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.

Luke 14:25-30 NLT

25 A large crowd was following Jesus. He turned around and said to them, 26 “If you want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone else—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple.27 And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple. 28 “But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? 29 Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. 30 They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’

Mal 3:10 NLT

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

Luke 16:10 NLT

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.

Matt 6:21 NKJV

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

John 4:34-38 NKJV

34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37 For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”

Heb 12:1-2 NKJV

1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Mal 3:13-18 NKJV

13 “Your words have been harsh against Me,”   Says the Lord, “Yet you say,
‘What have we spoken against You?’  14 You have said, ‘It is useless to serve God; What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, And that we have walked as mourners Before the Lord of hosts?  15 So now we call the proud blessed, For those who do wickedness are raised up; They even tempt God and go free.’” 16 Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name. 17 “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels.[a] And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.”  18 Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.

Matt 7:21 NKJV

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
