There can be no joy in the life of the Christian who puts himself or herself above others. The secret of joy, in spite of circumstances, is the singly focused mind on Christ. The secret to having joy, in spite of selfish people, is having the servant mind of Christ.

In Philippians chapter 1, it is Christ first and Paul being the soul winner. In Philippians 2, it is others second and it's Paul the servant.

Satan was not satisfied to be a created being, or a creature, he wanted to be the creator. Jesus who was and is the creator, willingly became a created being, man.

More than twenty times in the New Testament, God instructs us how to “live with one another" and "love one another."

'Others' should be a key word in the vocabulary of the born-again Christian, the follower of Jesus, who is submitted to God and serving others.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing upon mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written upon their foreheads.

4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. 5 And to the others he said in mine  hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: 6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
