Seeking and waiting on God’s timing allows us to be more fully used by Him, glorifies Him, and blesses others.

Our homes should be welcoming inns, at times to the inconvenience of ourselves, so that others may be ministered to in the presence of Jesus!

Jesus is the good shepherd, and we should be like the good shepherd, ministering to His sheep.

With every breath we take there is praise of His name.

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,  Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,  Yet out of you shall come forth to Me  The One to be Ruler in Israel,  Whose goings forth are from of old,  From everlasting.”

The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water;
He turns it wherever He wishes.

5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.  6 My soul waits for the Lord   More than those who watch for the morning— Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.

“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

“I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. 9 Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. 10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. 12 A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. 13 The hired hand runs away because he’s working only for the money and doesn’t really care about the sheep.
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me,15 just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock with one shepherd.
17 “The Father loves me because I sacrifice my life so I may take it back again. 18 No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded.”

23 “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.
