Luke 7:36-8:4 - An Identity Built Through Him

Life Lesson (verse Luke 7:38)

You were created for God’s glory, made in His image, and deemed worthy through Him.  Let this define the essence of who you are today!

Life Lesson (verse Luke 7:38)

We need to live in such a way that our spirit is edified in Christ.

Life Lesson (verse Luke 7:50)

The testimony regarding our past is less to be shared and better to be understood.  We who have accepted Christ were ALL once sinners, now made saints through His grace.

Life Lesson (verse Luke 8:4)

When you give your all to Jesus, His work through you knows no limits.

John 6:44 AMP

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him [giving him the desire to come to Me]; and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day.

John 14:15-17 NKJV

15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Acts 1:8 NKJV

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

John 4:24 NKJV

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Is 43:7 NKJV

Everyone who is called by My name,
Whom I have created for My glory;
I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”

Matt 7:1-2 NLT

1 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

Matt 12:36-37 NLT

36 And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. 37 The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”

Psalms 94:8-11 NLT

8 Think again, you fools!  When will you finally catch on?   9 Is he deaf—the one who made your ears?  Is he blind—the one who formed your eyes?  10 He punishes the nations—won’t he also punish you?   He knows everything—doesn’t he also know what you are doing?   11 The Lord knows people’s thoughts;  he knows they are worthless!

James 2:14-17 AMP

14 What is the benefit, my fellow believers, if someone claims to have faith but has no [good] works [as evidence]? Can that [kind of] faith save him? [No, a mere claim of faith is not sufficient—genuine faith produces good works.] 15 If a brother or sister is without [adequate] clothing and lacks [enough] food for each day, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace [with my blessing], [keep] warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do? 17 So too, faith, if it does not have works [to back it up], is by itself dead [inoperative and ineffective].

Psalms 103:11-12 NLT

11 For his unfailing love toward those who fear him   is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. 12 He has removed our sins as far from us  as the east is from the west.

Is 43:25 NKJV

“I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.
