Luke 12:22-40 - Arrows and a Bullseye. The Target of Your Life.

Merimnaō (verse Luke 12:31)

Worry in Greek: merimnaō - to be anxious Made up of two Greek words, merizo and nous. merizō - to divide nous - mind So to worry, means anxious, which comes from a divided mind.

Life Lesson (verse Luke 12:31)

When you get anxious or begin to worry, stop and meditate on what's God says is important. Then remove whatever has divided your focus from His primary goals.

Life Lesson (verse Luke 12:34)

Do practical things that reinforce what God says is important in your life. That reality and belief will grow in your heart and mind.

Life Lesson (verse Luke 12:40)

KEEP doing what God has given you to do, both big and seemingly small things. Our reward is quickly approaching.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.
