As Christians in the United States, we will have many presidents, but we will only have one king, Jesus.

The grace, mercy, and sacrifices of Jesus are the source of our blessings. The grace and mercy of God are given, and not sold; they are consistent, eternal, and everlasting.

Us earning forgiveness through good works is a lot like trying to purchase forgiveness from God, or from one another.
