Our purpose should be to please God not people, not ourselves. We should seek God and spiritual growth. We should not seek to avoid conflict, which often leads to spiritual growth. Sometimes conflict happens as a result of spiritual growth.

A Jewish and Christian influenced culture that believes in one God and mans accountability to Him. One man, one woman for life, for marriage.
