Adoption by a Perfect Father

Life Lesson (verse Psalm 56:)

None of us have had perfect earthly fathers, neither have any of us been perfect fathers. God is the only perfect Heavenly Father and He… chooses us.

Life Lesson (verse Psalm 56:)

Adam had the perfect father, God, and Adam still rebelled.

Life Lesson (verse Psalm 56:)

We can choose our way or the Lord’s way, the Fathers way.

Life Lesson (verse Psalm 56:)

All of us must forgive our earthly fathers, who were not perfect, but were a picture of our perfect Heavenly Father, God.

Life Lesson (verse Psalm 56:)

Some of us had good examples, some great examples, some had examples of what not to do, and the fatherless had God Himself, for an example.

Life Lesson (verse Psalm 56:)

We can either choose our own way and lack peace or we can choose the Biblical Heavenly Fathers way and have peace.

Judges 16:13 NKJV

Delilah said to Samson, “Until now you have mocked me and told me lies. Tell me what you may be bound with.” And he said to her, “If you weave the seven locks of my head into the web of the loom”--

Judges 16:14 NKJV

Judges 16:15-20 NLT

15 Then Delilah pouted, “How can you tell me, ‘I love you,’ when you don’t share your secrets with me? You’ve made fun of me three times now, and you still haven’t told me what makes you so strong!” 16 She tormented him with her nagging day after day until he was sick to death of it. 17 Finally, Samson shared his secret with her. “My hair has never been cut,” he confessed, “for I was dedicated to God as a Nazirite from birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as anyone else.” 18 Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers. “Come back one more time,” she said, “for he has finally told me his secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their hands. 19 Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her lap, and then she called in a man to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down, and his strength left him. 20 Then she cried to do things to please his flesh.

2 Timothy 4:9-17 NKJV

9 Be diligent to come to me quickly; 10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica--Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry. 12 And Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. 13 Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas when you come--and the books, especially the parchments. 14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works. 15 You also must beware of him, for he has greatly resisted our words. 16 At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and [that] all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
