We need God and the Bible for direction in our life.

Be careful who you listen to or get counsel from.

Unforgiveness can weaken you to do bad and selfish things.

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

9 Don't just pretend that you love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Be glad for all God is planning for you. Be patient in trouble, and always be prayerful. 13 When God's children are in need, be the one to help them out. And get into the habit of inviting guests home for dinner or, if they need lodging, for the night.

33'And if a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him.34 The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

19 "When you reap your harvest in your field, and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it; it shall be for the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

These things I command you, that you love one another.

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
