Have faith in God not in yourself.

Your past does not condemn your future.

Follow Jesus.

We are all called into ministry.

Peter answered and said to Him, "Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble."

31 And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.32 He spoke this word openly. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him.

How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

31 "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to have all of you, to sift you like wheat. 32 But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen and build up your brothers."

This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other equally.

You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

But go, tell His disciples -- and Peter -- that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you."

saying, "The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!"

in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,

who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,

This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.

And so, since God in his mercy has given us this wonderful ministry, we never give up.

Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart.

9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

9 So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time. 10 Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to our Christian brothers and sisters.

66 At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him. 67 Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, "Are you going to leave, too?" 68 Simon Peter replied, "Lord, to whom would we go? You alone have the words that give eternal life. 69 We believe them, and we know you are the Holy One of God."
