Adam, the first man was named after mankind or mankind was named after Adam.

Adam - means man, Adam, mankind.

Ben Adam - means person or human being.

Ben - means son. So Ben Adam means literally 'son of man'.

Adama - means ground or earth.

Man was created from the ground. We have many minerals in our bodies that are in the soil.

Dam - means blood

Adom - means red

Dema - means tears , to shed tears, it is dam or blood with an eye or the Hebrew letter ayin. Tears are the blood of the eyes. You shed blood when your body is injured, you shed tears, or blood of the eyes, when you soul hurts or has been set free.

Ben Ha-Adam - means 'the son of Man', it is a Messianic terms that Jesus used for Himself over and over.
