Possible Ministries

Here are possible ministries where you might be able to serve in a church:

Benevolence

Offers temporary financial assistance to individuals or families during a time of need, whether it be those attending the church or in the community.

Cafe & Bookstore

The bookstore may sell biblically-edifying reading materials, t-shirts, and gifts from Israel. The cafe might offer a full range of espresso drinks, smoothies, and specialty beverages. These could be available to guests of the church only, or also include the community.

Evangelism Team

Designed to reach out to those in the community who do not have a saving knowledge of Jesus. Service opportunities may include Christmas gift wrapping, annual Harvest Party, community cleanup projects, and special events.

Food Box Ministry

Provides food to families within the fellowship and community who have come into an unexpected need. Service opportunity includes providing these food box items, sorting donated items, and distributing the items and sharing the Gospel with the recipients.

Guest Services

Making every guest feel welcomed, accepted, valued, and right at home by answering questions at the welcome center about the church, staff, ministries, and upcoming events.

Life Groups

A Life Group is a gathering of people committed to meeting on a regular basis for fellowship, mutual care, study, and prayer. This can provide a place to be real with one another and experience true relationships, accountability, and growth with others seeking to be more like Jesus.

Media

Preparing and presenting video, graphics, audio, projection, and design elements during services, as well as post-production and editing of photos, audio, and video recordings of events.

Nursery

Providing a loving and caring environment for children while they are free to study God's Word at all services. The church will screen all nursery workers to ensure a safe environment for the little ones during services.

Youth Groups

Especially for students in 6th through 12th grade, who meet at different times than the main services for worship, teaching from God's Word, games, video segments, and a time for fellowship with other people their own age.

Prison and Jail Ministry

An opportunity to reach those who are in jail or prison with a video teaching from the church, Bible study, prayer and encouragement to meet Jesus. In Matthew 25 He says, 'I was in prison and you came to Me'; this is the opportunity to go to Him there.

Safety

Dedicated to providing a safe environment for guests at the church and trained to help during emergency situations.
