Life Lessons Referenced
Life Lesson (Psalm 35:3)

The enemy does not fight fair.

Life Lesson (Psalm 35:21)

Every good, strong, spiritual leader in the Bible was attacked with false accusations and lies. They revealed their character in deciding to focus on the task of saving souls, rather than focus on defending themselves.

Life Lesson (Psalm 35:3)

The enemy will launch his fiercest and most vile attacks against the leader, the pastor. He wants to destroy (not attack, destroy) the leader and the leader’s family.

Life Lesson (Psalm 35:27)

We each get to choose, when someone is beat up or beat down, whether we join the beat down, or we try to encourage the person to follow the Lord.

Life Lesson (Psalm 35:3)

The enemy, and every demon in hell, wants every person in the church to hate the pastor and hate his family.

Life Lesson (Psalm 35:28)

The enemy wants your eyes on the here and now, the temporary. God wants our eyes upon eternity and that which will last forever; like faith, hope and love.

Life Lesson (Psalm 35:3)

Any attack you think you are above, that you would not be tempted by, you just became weak and open to.

Life Lesson (Psalm 35:28)

The enemy wants to distract us from evangelism and anything that would bring unbelievers into the church or bring believers back into the church.

Verses Referenced and Teaching Notes
John 10:10 NKJV
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Eph 6:11-13 NKJV
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:11-12 NLT
11 Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Matt 5:43-48 NKJV
43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'  44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,  45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.  46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?  47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?  48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
