Luke 2 Jesus, Christmas and You, Part 1: Find His Place in Your StoryBible

The enemy wants you to look at church as a bother not as an encouragement to do well. The church will help you to stay focused and be faithful, and not fearful.
Find His place in your story, then find your place in His story.
In the Bible, there are appearances of Christ in the Hebrew scriptures to people. Since we know that people cannot look at the face of God the Father and live, this must be God the Son. An appearance of Jesus in the Hebrew Scriptures is called a 'Christophany'.
Jesus was with the Father at the beginning, and also made several appearances to mankind in the Hebrew Scriptures before He appeared here on Earth.
The part of you that desires friendship and fellowship is the part of you created in the image of God.
Anytime you think of yourself as anything less than a "God created masterpiece", you are not believing the Word of God, not being thankful to God and destroying the beauty of God's masterpiece.
The problem and friction come in because God's masterpiece is born with sin, into a sin stained world.
There is a calling to tell the Christmas story and there is a blessing in telling the Christmas story.
