As God’s people talking to God, we should say ‘praise thee’ more than ‘bless me.’
We should be looking and focusing on God more than ourselves and more than looking at other people.
Worship is loving God. Worship is giving love back to God freely.
Just like we start our church service with worship, start your day with worship.
Worship is not music, worship is a lifestyle. Worship is visiting our King, whose Son died to save our life. Thankful.
We should each ‘tell the world’ that Jesus is a loving savior who died and that we could each have a friendship with God.
Two people kissed Jesus in the Bible, Judas and Mary Magdalene or Mary of Magdala.
Consider this: the religious crowds around Jesus condemned Mary and applauded Judas; while the Word of God and the Son of God applaud Mary and condemn Judas.
Judas kissed the face of Jesus in betrayal, with the approval of the many religious leaders; Mary kissed the feet of Jesus in worship and was met with the disapproval of the religious leaders.
1. Call to worship
7. True Worship is establishing a two-way communication with God.
Worship by serving
Worship by giving
Worship by attending
Worship by witnessing
Worship by inviting
Worship should be a part of all our prayers
Start your day by worshipping God and establishing that spiritual connection and keep it all day.
When you start to pray, start out by worshipping. When you start your day, start out by worshipping.
A true believer must love God, love people to the same degree they hate and tolerate sin.
Worship must come before evangelism, or true evangelism will not take place.
The worship of God feels good. The true worshipper must always remember that it is Jesus at the center of the worship, not their feelings.
